Beginning of the next Krutz/Watkins Generation

Also while in Oxford Barron got to meet Trey and Betsy's newest daughter, Grace. She was born right before Barron on April 2. She is a cutie!!! Of course Barron starts to cry when the picture is being taken.

Trip to Oxford Mississippi

We finally made Barron's debut in Mississippi first in Oxford and then onto Columbus. In Oxford, Barron got to meet Uncle Patrick and Uncle Cole as well as his Great-Grandparents.

His Aunt Amy and Stephen were nice enough to babysit while we went to Lauren Watkin's wedding. Thanks Amy and Stephen!!!

Barron 1 Week

Going Home

We finally are released from the hospital on Monday April 14. A sweet lady came to get me by wheel chair and watches Bryan try to figure out how to load Barron into the car seat. After at least 20 minutes we are ready to go. The lady then informs us that "the mother is to carry the baby out of the hospital." So before we got Barron back out of the car seat we decided to take a picture.

We were so excited to leave since we did not think that Barron was going to be able to leave with us. His jaundice levels were getting higher but finally leveled out. His coloring is very dark from the jaundice. I am sure you were wondering.

April 11, 2008

After 20 hours of labor and a c-section Bryan and I welcomed Barron into the world at 4:06 pm. He weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. I am proud to say that Barron and I weighed the same amount at birth.

Barron at 31 weeks

Well Barron got his measurements done today and it has definitely been confirmed that he is a big baby. He measured 5 pounds 4 ounces, which is a month ahead of schedule. Let's just hope that he comes early!!!

In most of his pictures his hand and ambilical cord is in front of his face blocking the perfect picture. It looks like we have a "Mini Bryan" on the way, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Jeffrey Barron Krutz

As Baby Krutz's Mother I have decided to post this blog myself. It has taken Bryan and I many weeks to decide on his name. It was a lot harder process than I ever had imagined. To think that you are responsible for naming someone for their entire life it becomes a big deal.

We finally decided on Jeffrey Barron Krutz. He will go by his middle name, Barron. I know many of you may disagree with calling someone by their middle name but we decided to do it anyway.

The name Jeffrey came from my father's brother that I never got to meet but was named after. Barron is Cherry Krutz's maiden name.

I hope everyone has a wonderful 2008 and I will update the blog the next time I get an ultrasound.

Thanks for checking on us.
