Grandmama Hutchins came to town and decided it was time for Barron to start eating baby food. She even brought it with her from Columbus. I was a little iffy but decided to go along with it.
Our first try went fairly well for Barron never having used a spoon before. I think he thought it was more of a game than anything. He just kept smiling and banging his leg (which is what he does when he gets excited). Our second attempt he started getting the hang of it and really liking it. By the third attempt he was screaming at the top of his lungs every time we took too long getting him the next bite. There was anger in those screams.
Grandmama left town and we have not done it since. I decided to wait for his Pediatrician to tell us to do it, which from what I understand should be our next visit. When he is 4 months old.

First Day at Church
This past Sunday was Barron's first time to go to Church. I figured since he was now 3 months that I did not have anymore excuses not to take him to Church. Barron is not the easiest of babies so I have been so nervous about putting the sweet ladies in PWMC's nursery through anything traumatic.
Barron was happy when we dropped him off and were told to just leave him in his car seat (which he loves). His buddy Josh, who is 6 weeks older, was also there. When Bryan and I came back after Church to pick him up, Barron was fine and well taken care of. It was a special day for us and also a big step that I have been dreaming about since we started attending the Church.

Getting Chubby...
Barron is getting chubbier by the day. He has gotten where he loves to sit up so he can look around and I guess take it all in. The Krutz's were in town for July 4th and we got to hang out a little at the Wine Bar. Here is Barron hanging out with Grandmama Krutz.
If anyone knows how to turn the pictures and make them upright, please let me know. I cannot figure it out.
