How fun can the kitchen be?

My friend's have been telling me for a while "just wait until he turns 1, it is going to get real fun!" I did not believe them, I thought he was already fun, until now.  Barron is always getting into something, he LOVES to open doors and drawers and then close them.  My wonderful husband has still not completely "baby-proofed" the kitchen.  Well, Barron knows exactly which drawers are not!

It is so funny to watch him get into the cabinets and find some really fun toys!

He definitely does not like to share his toys...
Barron has also some how learned to put things up.  All of his toys are in baskets and I have been noticing that after he plays with them he actually puts them back in the baskets.  Crazy, I know.  Well this process has started with other things.  The other day he picked up one of Bailey's toys and decided to "put it up as well."

Almost
Finally, put away...

Barron is so fun to watch.  He is understanding more and more by the day.  I am so thankful for him, he always seems to brighten my day.

It has been such a busy spring I have not been blogging as much as I would like.  So this one is a mix of the last few weeks.  Barron has not been feeling the best lately so he has not been himself.  Not only has he had an ear infection but he is also getting in a back tooth!
Here is the only descent picture of all of us from Mother's Day.  We ate brunch after church at the Alys Beach pool.  It was very bright as you can see we can barely open our eyes.

Bryan's Aunt Emily and cousin, Ann Elizabeth, are in town and were sweet enough to take the time to come visit us.  Barron is normally iffy around people he has not seen in a while but that was not the case with them.  Not only did they play with Barron but they danced with him to his music.  Dancing is Barron's favorite past time!!!

Barron got to meet his soon-to-be Aunt Courtney's new puppy.  I was extremely nervous that Barron was going to be a little rough with him but he was not at all.  He was so gentle and even kissed him twice on the mouth.  We got a picture right before he went in.  It was the sweetest thing I think I have ever seen.

Mother's Day

My Mom and Mother-in-law have taught me so much. They are both sweet, selfless, patient, beautiful Mommas; and they both had three children all close in age. Now that I have one, I just dont know how they did it. It is sooo much more of a harder job than I ever realized. I am very grateful that Barron will grow up with such wonderful Grandmoms.
